Salt Chlorinators
The Zodiac LM3 salt chlorinator uses salt, dissolved in your pool water, to generate all the chlorine needed to keep the pool clean, clear and ready for swimming.
Built into the pool filtration system, its electrolytic cell uses specially coated plates and a low voltage electrical charge to convert the salt in the water into pure chlorine. As the chlorine oxidizes contaminants in the pool water it reverts back into salt. The saltwater flows through the filtration system again to repeat the cycle continuously.
The salt in the water, less than the percentage found in a human tear, feels beautifully soft and silky on your skin. And the small amounts of ozone produced by the electrolytic process adds to the sparkle and crystal clear freshness of your pool water.
