Pool waterfalls are constructed from real stone to plastics and concretes. The simplest variety of waterfalls consists of a pole with a bar above it. Water is pumped through the pole to poor out of the bar at the top. Another shape of waterfall is the “L” shape. Water is pumped into the concrete base and pored onto a protruding lip. The height of the base and lip of the waterfall can vary depending on what effect you are looking for.

Once you have chosen your waterfall, you need to find a place for it, keeping in mind that a waterfall also needs to have the necessary pumps and filters to keep it running. This equipment can be hidden inside the waterfall. You may wish to make a small flower garden surrounding the waterfall or add a small rock garden behind it. This will add beauty to your waterfall and prove a beautiful focal point in your yard.
